How we got started

We started humbly but with a grand plan: To create the best New York dirty water cart-style hot dogs this world has ever tasted. End of story.

Our secret? It's not one, admittedly. The best ingredients is a big part. An unrelenting love for a great hot dog is the other big part. Between those two, we think we pretty much have our hot dog bases covered.

Turns out we also like people, though. We're not making these delicious, one-of-a-kind hot dog creations to not share them. We hope to share them with you, in fact. And soon. So head on in and feast your eyes on the greatest hot dog ever made. You won't be sorry you did.

  • Do you only sell hot dogs?

    No! We also offer many other items than hot dogs such as burgers, sides, ice cream, and drinks! Even if hot dogs aren’t your thing – you’ll find something delicious no matter what you choose at the Dog Hut. 

  • What do you put on your hot dogs?

    We offer Special hot dogs with topping already on them like our Carolina hot dog or our Columbian Hot Dog. However, we also offer a variety of toppings so you can create a customized hot dog exactly to your liking.

    Our free toppings include pickles, ketchep, relish, mustard, white onions, deli mustard, mayo, thousand island dressing, honey Dijon, and bbq sauce.

    Our premium, paid toppings include chili (both mild and spicy), bacon, cole slaw, sauerkraut, sabrett-red onion, cheddar cheese, tomato pico, sport of jalepenos. 


  • Do you have a social media presence?

    Yes we do, and we stay active!  Our Facebook post often and gladly interact with our loyal following.  Tell us about your meal or service, we love to hear your stories!  Enjoy your food, tell us what you got and what made your meal perfect! We'd love to know.

  • Do you have outdoor seating?

    Yes!  We have nice tables set up for having a meal on nice sunny day. Dogs (the furry king) are welcome outside so long as they’re under control. Come to The Dog Hut and enjoy the rays and the beach breeze!
